GlobePay Acceptable Use Policy

You are independently responsible for complying with all applicable laws in all of your actions related to your use of GlobePay's services, regardless of the purpose of the use. In addition, you must adhere to the terms of this Acceptable Use Policy.
Prohibited Activities
List of banned products referred to in the General Terms and Conditions and Special Terms and
Conditions are mentioned here in below. It is hereby agreed by the Merchant that the GlobePay may, at its
sole discretion modify the below mentioned list from time to time and Merchant shall
be required to comply with the same.
You may not use the GlobePay service for activities that:
- violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation
- relate to sales of (a) narcotics, steroids, certain controlled substances or other products that present a risk to consumer safety, (b) drug paraphernalia, (c) items that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity, (d) items that promote hate, violence, racial intolerance, or the financial exploitation of a crime, (e) items that are considered obscene, (f) items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction, (g) certain sexually oriented materials or services, (h) ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, or (i) ,certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law
- relate to transactions that (a) show the personal information of third parties in violation of applicable law, (b) support pyramid or ponzi schemes, matrix programs, other "get rich quick" schemes or certain multi-level marketing programs, (c) are associated with purchases of annuities or lottery contracts, lay-away systems, off-shore banking or transactions to finance or refinance debts funded by a credit card, (d) are for the sale of certain items before the seller has control or possession of the item, (e) are by payment processors to collect payments on behalf of merchants, (f), are associated with the sale of traveler's checks or money orders, (h) involve currency exchanges or check cashing businesses, or (i) provide certain credit repair or debt settlement services
- involve the sales of products or services identified by government agencies to have a high likelihood of being fraudulent
- violate applicable laws or industry regulations regarding the sale of (a) tobacco products, or (b) prescription drugs and devices
- involve gambling, gaming and/or any other activity with an entry fee and a prize, including, but not limited to casino games, sports betting, horse or greyhound racing, lottery tickets, other ventures that facilitate gambling, games of skill (whether or not it is legally defined as a lottery) and sweepstakes unless the operator has obtained prior approval from GlobePay and the operator and customers are located exclusively in jurisdictions where such activities are permitted by law.
- Adult goods and services which includes pornography and other sexually suggestive materials (including literature, imagery and other media); escort or prostitution services;
- Alcohol which includes Alcohol or alcoholic beverages such as beer, liquor, wine, or champagne;
- Body parts which includes organs or other body parts;
- Bulk marketing tools which includes email lists, software, or other products enabling unsolicited email messages (spam);
- Cable descramblers and black boxes which includes devices intended to obtain cable and satellite signals for free;
- Child pornography which includes pornographic materials involving minors;
- Copyright unlocking devices which includes Mod chips or other devices designed to circumvent copyright protection;
- Copyrighted media which includes unauthorized copies of books, music, movies, and other licensed or protected materials; Copyright infringing merchandise;
- Copyrighted software which includes unauthorized copies of software, video games and other licensed or protected materials, including OEM or bundled software;
- Products labeled as "tester," "not for retail sale," or "not intended for resale";
- Counterfeit and unauthorized goods which includes replicas or imitations of designer goods;
- items without a celebrity endorsement that would normally require such an association; fake autographs, counterfeit stamps, and other potentially unauthorized goods;
- Products that have been altered to change the product's performance, safety specifications, or indications of use;
- Drugs and drug paraphernalia which includes hallucinogenic substances, illegal drugs and drug accessories, including herbal drugs like salvia and magic mushrooms;
- Drug test circumvention aids which includes drug cleansing shakes, urine test additives, and related items;
- Endangered species which includes plants, animals or other organisms (including product derivatives) in danger of extinction;
- Government IDs or documents which includes fake IDs, passports, diplomas, and noble titles;
- Hacking and cracking materials which includes manuals, how-to guides, information, or equipment enabling illegal access to software, servers, websites, or other protected property;
- Illegal goods which includes materials, products, or information promoting illegal goods or enabling illegal acts;
- Miracle cures which includes unsubstantiated cures, remedies or other items marketed as quick health fixes;
- Offensive goods which includes literature, products or other materials that: a) Defame or slander any person or groups of people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, or other factors b) Encourage or incite violent acts c) Promote intolerance or hatred;
- Offensive goods, crime which includes crime scene photos or items, such as personal belongings, associated with criminals;
- Pyrotechnic devices (apart from the ones mentioned in the Restricted category), hazardous materials and radioactive materials and substances;
- Tobacco and cigarettes which includes e-cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, and related products;
- Traffic devices which includes radar detectors/jammers, license plate covers, traffic signal changers, and related products;
- Weapons which includes firearms, ammunition, knives, brass knuckles, gun parts, and other armaments;
- Matrix sites or sites using matrix scheme approach/Ponzi/Pyramid schemes; Work-at-home information;
- Any product or service which is not in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations whether federal, state, local or international including the laws of India;
- Merchant who deal in BPO services;
- Merchant who deal in surgical products on B2C model;
- Merchant who deal in immigration services (only consultancy is doable);
- Merchant who deal in loose diamonds;
- Merchant who deal in guaranteed employment services;
- Religious products which are making false claims or hurting someone's religious feelings;
- Merchant who deal in adoption agencies;
- Merchant who deal in pawnshop;
- Merchant who deal in esoteric pages, psychic consultations;
- Merchant who deal in telemarketing (Calling list, selling by phone for example travel service, overall sales);
- Merchant who deal in credit Counselling/Credit Repair Services;
- Merchant who deal in get rich businesses;
- Merchant who deal in bankruptcy services;
- Merchant who deal in websites depicting violence and extreme sexual violence; and
- Bestiality.
Activities Requiring Approval
GlobePay requires pre-approval to accept payments for certain services as set out in 5 above and detailed in the chart below.
